Nice clip. I've just wandered this thread from the beginning. Great pics. Well, all except for the one that makes me want to stick pins in my eyes. Or his. But, I'd better shut up so I don't get thrown off before I've barely started. Not gonna tell on me, are you Claire? One thing I had forgotten from all the times I've spoken with my Aussie IM buddy. Not to attempt to eat while reading anything written by an Australian. Some day I am going to choke to death from laughter. I would like to ask a question since everyone else seems a season ahead. My son just woke up and has only seen me doing emails or IM's during the night so this new page has him curious. I must get him back to sleep since it's 1am. Anyway, could someone tell me what happens with Rose? I saw David Tennant on The Graham Norton Show talking about the season opener. It confused me until I realized they were ahead. There was a picture of a Black woman with him in a shot from the show. Is she his new helper? Norton mentioned that Capt. Jack had been on previously and gave away one of Doctor Who's storylines. I don't want to play spoiler if it hasn't aired yet but David looked quite nervous at first and then seemed to confirm it. I would hate to wait another season to find out. Well Claire, I gave this 2 hours and that's about what it took. Now,I must say goodnight. Or Good afternoon.

Rose is in a parallel world, basically, and "can't get back" (which has me cheering, seeing as I couldn't stand her ). Martha was his companion for the series just gone, and will be appearing in the next series as well. Which one? LOL yeah this is one massive board, I know But hopefully it's fun to post at, given how much there is to talk about G'night! ;D

Thanks for letting me know Claire. Actually, I thought Rose was kind of cute even if she was a little possessive and clingy. As for the size of your board, all I've done so far is had a quick look at a couple of things and roamed around in Torchwood and then this one. This one took up the most time. So there's still plenty to see.
Annette, this is what's known as a rock and a hard place. Suffice to say that I like David Tennant and think that he's cute as the Doctor but as sexy as anything as Barty Jr. As much as I disliked the character, there is something about that little snake tongue thing he did.
I think Claire's laughing at me.

*snicker* Why would I do that? ;D BCJ is hawtness indeed - he's what got me obsessed liking Mr Tennant in the first place And it's funny because I don't actually like his portrayal of the Doctor, I find him annoying and too manic. But I still love him as an actor, I think he's awesome, and I've heard he's really good with his fans so that always makes actors more likeable.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe I'm just getting a bit paranoid in my old age. I never even knew who David Tennant was before GoF and didn't see him again until the new season of Doctor Who started last month. I don't have other actors from the role to compare him to since I have always avoided the show like the plague. I think the manic behavior is part of his cuteness on the show. That's what makes it even more fun that he refuses to give out second chances and doesn't care less about the results if they blow their first chance. It's nice that he seems to be so good with his fans. He seemed like a decent guy when I saw him on the talk show. He was so excited that one of his favorite groups were also going to be on. The Proclaimers (500 miles).

*snicker* Why would I do that? ;D *cough*because it's what you'd do*cough* *gasp* Wha.....? I didn't know who he was before GoF either actually, but since then I've seen him in other stuff like Blackpool and Secret Smile (gawd he is one twisted psycho in SS I can tell you). Actually speaking of Dr Who, it's interesting to see how differently each actor has portrayed the character each time, with each "regeneration". But that's part of the fun of it all I guess

LOL
Yes, I am older than you psijunkie. (Could I ask which name you prefer? I've seen them both.) I just checked your profile. I was born in 1960. I just turned 47 last month. I saw when I checked mine that I had my age hidden as well as gender.
I'm a bit surprised that each actor plays Dr Who differently. I would have thought that they would try and play it similar. But I guess that it would lead to even more comparison than just having different actors in the role.

The difference in personality is what comes with each regeneration I guess, I'm not a "Classic Whovian" but that seems to be the way it goes... and each actor has been a different age as well so that plays a big part in how the Doctor is played. Variety and all that jazz
