I absolutely, completely and utterly LOVED Life on Mars. The number of quotes in every single episode... 'Look at her. She's as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot'.

I haven't seen much of Ashes to Ashes, my friend made me watch a bit but I couldn't get on with it as much as LoM. The lack of Sam made it less likeable I think. He is so very lovely, after all.
I thought the ending of it was a bit strange, although Nelson as St Peter was a stroke of genius.

Yeah Sam was an awesome character (John Simm! <3) I didn't take to Alex as much, but I liked that in A2A there was more of a focus on the others. The end was quite weird, but even weirder was that I actually had a dream about it before I watched it and my dream was pretty much spot on  Subconsciously I must have figured it out, hah |
