Ooo Rocko's Modern Life I loved that show, it was wacky! "I am the cheese!" LOL! Yeah online petitions don't always seem to do a lot I guess it would depend on how many signatures you got out of it. There's one for Samurai Pizza Cats but it doesn't seem to be too affective, although that series is available in France

All hail the jackhammer riding wallabe! I would have no idea where to start. Lucky France... At least with anime you can sometimes find bootleg copies on the internet...

Well yeah, but domestic anime dvd's are so expensive.... I can buy a whole bootlegged series for the same price as one domestic disk.

Yeah, unfortunately though a lot of big companies like Bandai have been cleaning out and completely destroying a lot of businesses that sell bootleg dvd's. At anime expo they had this one booth shut down and banned because they sold bootlegs. So, yeah, that's the downside of bootlegs...

Exactly! At Best Buy they sell the boxset of Trigun for 60 dollars and I bought bootleg copy for 18! There's really no point in making the domestic dvd's so expensive, because they never have any decent special features. (Excel Saga is the only one I know of that has hidden easter eggs and stuff.) Most special features on anime dvd's are the same: character sketches and trailers for other anime. No commentary or anything. Granted, bootleg dvd's have absolutely no special features, but I don't think it really matters.
