Heh that's not bad I guess... I'm just glad that here we have VCRs, DVD players and TVs that can play both, they just have auto settings... Except of course for my DVD ROM  Oh it'll play NTSC, if it's Region 4 (which for some reason we get sometimes), but if it's any other Region, it'll bring up that thing where it locks it on the last Region you play... if that makes sense, LOL! |

Lucky people.......I don't have a multi region DVD player........-_- I want one, because one I have sucks (I buy bootleg anime DVD's and my player is very fickle with them).........*kicks it*

Yeah, some of them can be quite sensitive...
Hey can you get patches or something for your players? My b/f had to get one, just a code, to put into his new portable player, so it could play other Regions... Most seem to have the ability to play them already (like mine, and the one we have in the loungeroom), but others just need a code to be put into them and then they'll work...
But you'd still need the ability to play PAL as well as NTSC.
LOL I don't want to get into that though...

well some wont play recorded dvds... multi or not.. and I do record my tapes from my video camera to a dvd... (talent shows etc with the kids) and it wont play on a lot of machines... the newer ones |

Hmm... weird... Mine is usually pretty good for that kind of stuff...
It depends I guess. Depends on the actual transfers themselves... Maybe there are certain settings they have to be on or something... They can be rather temperamental...
