Has anyone else seen this? I'm referring to the 1945 British film... (I notice there are similar titles at IMDB). (this is a pretty light description but meh) Architect Walter Craig, seeking the possibility of some work at a country farmhouse, soon finds himself once again stuck in his recurring nightmare. Dreading the end of the dream that he knows is coming, he must first listen to all the assembled guests' own bizarre tales.www.imdb.com/title/tt0037635/It's quite an interesting film actually... I'm not always a fan of horror, but this was actually the sort of thing I like - I don't like gore and gratuitious violence so this was a good one, heh More of the psychological kind, creepy...

Ooh, I went to watch this at the National Film Theatre earlier in the year! It's great fun! We watched "the haunted mirror" as part of our uni course so I wanted to see the rest of it. I love this old style of movie. AND it's British!! The ventriloquist's dummy is really spooky!!

Eek yeah, the ventriloquist one was freaky... (I hate those dummies!) The mirror one was really cool though, and the golfing one was funny, kinda like a Randall & Hopkirk sort of thing

I did like the Golf one. It was very odd but light hearted. But the dummy gave me weird dreams for a while!!

Funnily enough I didn't have dreams about it... I think some of the acting made it seem less freaky, LOL! Especially in that girl's story, with the little boy in the old room... "I'm not frightened!" I still liked it though.
