Does anyone else like the Carry On movies? I admit, I've only just sort of started to get into them. The first one I watched was Carry On Camping, so that would have to be my favourite But I also really liked Carry On Regardless, and Carry On Cruising. They're so camp but great

Me! Me!
I'm not sure which is my fave, the ones set in hospitals are pretty classic though.
Did you see the biographical telemovie on UKTV about Barbara Windsor's life? It mostly dealt with her relationship with Sid James. Great look-alikes, though I have always had a hankering to see Chris Barrie as Kenneth Williams, given the brilliant impression he can do of him!

*squee* YES! Chris Barrie should totally play the Kenneth Williams character if they ever make a "new" Carry On movie, LOL! His impersonations are scarily good I haven't seen that telemovie though... Hmm... Might have to...

Awww Carry Ons! I used to watch them with my Pa, he loved Carry On movies and even though i was sorta young and did get them (though i looooooooooved Kenneth Williams) i used to sit in his lap and watch them with him. I think i saw most of them, i loved Carry on Camping, Carry on Henry and Carry on up the Khyber! My Pa has passed away now, and whenever i see a carry on movie reminds me of all the great times i had watching them with him

Charles Hawtrey! My god, he was camper than a row of pink frilly tents! Amy, I think it's lovely that something as fun as a Carry On movie reminds you of your Pa. *hugs* Has anyone seen a vid called 'An Audience With Kenneth Williams?' I've seen it at the ABC shop, and was mightily tempted.

So do I...but I'd worry that Sid James would chase my Barbies around the room! (And Charles Hawtrey would try to chat up my Van Helsing dolly action figure.)
