Oh Virtuosity! What a terrible movie! I watched that for an essay once... But you're right, Crowe is fit in it (so is Denzel) but how did you not like him before? I mean in Gladiator he is sizzling!! *tssssschhh* And I can so see Reece in a role like that! Phew! He would be ultimate sex on a stick!! Nah Virtuosity is what got me liking Russell Crowe, but I went off him again after a while. He's a bit of a bastard But I saw the suit he wore in that movie on display in Melbourne's Planet Hollywood years ago (which I don't think exists anymore, LOL!) and that was the "then" highlight of my trip But yeah, when I was watching it the other day I thought Reece would be good in a role like that, it's sort of like Tony from 'Catterick' but only more insane, in that Sid (Russell's character) is all giggly and deep voiced, it's almost hilarious Annnyways! I watched The Blues Brothers on Friday night, hehehe!

I finally got around to seeing Serenity today. Gotta say, I really, really liked it! Good balance between action and pathos...although Joss hasn't gotten over his obsession with young girls that have superhero strength and abilities. Now I'm going to have to go and buy the Firefly boxset

Ooh maybe I should see this... I was never a fan of Firefly though, so... I'm not sure I'd understand it...

I've never seen any episodes of Firefly, and I had no problem understanding it...I think it's supposed to be a prequel to the series? But I could be wrong! I actually knew very little about it, except that Joss wrote it.

I used to go to the cinema by myself all the time. It's quite nice not having other people annoying you throughout the film trying to eat your sweets...
I don't fancy Serenity. I'm not a big Whedon fan...

LOL That's the least of my worries... I find the rest of the "audience" more annoying with the rustling of wrappers and talking over the film

I suppose it's easier to focus... When I watched my TLoG:A DVD alone it was a lot more enjoyable because I didn't have people bothering me and creating a distraction...

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (It wasn't bad, I would have preferred more UK people in the main cast though......)

Just saw Pride and Prejudice...didnae like it! Keia Knightly - Blech! All googly eyes and collarbone...not to mention her duck lips. Played a very insipid Elizabeth. Matthew MacFadyen - He is a hottie. Always liked him in Spooks...but Mr Darcy? No. No one beats Colin Firth. Problem si, Matthew has quite a cute smile. He smiled once in the film, and I felt bits of myself go wobbly. However, Mr Darcey isn't really a cheery kind of guy...not exactly a barrel of laughs...so it's a waste of a guy with a cute smile. Also, thought the cinemetography was kind of crap - a few lovely shots, but some really weird and pointless ones (like the pig with the huge nuts...have no idea why they felt the need to focus on that). All in all, pretty disappointing...the BBC version is far superior, and I can't help wondering why they felt the need to make it into a movie at all.
