My current fave tv show, which I'm catching up with via the wonderful world of box set DVDs. It's a HBO production, which means lots of sex, drugs, swearing and violence ;D It's a series about the historically important town of Deadwood, and is based on fact, with some fictional characters incorporated to advance the plots. So yeah, I love it on many levels. There's lots of strong female characters in the series, including my fave character, Calamity Jane. She is a tragic figure, but is hilariously dry and gets some of the funniest lines Here's a pic of Joanie Stubbs, her business partner Maddie and their stable of whores. (Don't you love her top hat! Gawgeous!) Wild Bill Hickock and Sheriff Seth Bullock:

OMG, how much fun is this show! Gotta be real careful though not to start with the c**ksuckers in everyday conversation I'm well in the zone now, so, when you're ready tweed, I'd love to know you're thoughts.................have you seen the second series?

OMG, how much fun is this show! Gotta be real careful though not to start with the c**ksuckers in everyday conversation Tell me about it! I esp. enjoyed the c*nt-eyed c**ksucker insult. And Jane's classic "Whadda you f*cking looking at???" Yes quote it, and quote it often Some of the stuff Al and Jane come out with has me laughing my arse off, truly. I have! I think I liked the first series better - more action, less politics, but it gets more interesting towards the end. (Shan't spoil!) There is going to be a third series too.

Well, a trip to JB definately on todays agenda for series 2, I doubt I could go a day now devoid of c**ksuckers, F**knuts or hoppleheads without feeling like something was missing I quite like the politics so hopefully I won't be too disappointed with the second series, however it has a hell of a standard to live up to. And Jane, tell me she makes a return visit to Deadwood, pleeease! God, I just love her, Whadda you f**kin lookin at indeed! I have to say, there are far too many hilarious lines to remember but I am particularly fond of " it looks like your mothrer fucked a monkey" , in reference to someones hair. And how I love the tinned peaches! F**king brilliant.
