Has anyone been watching the new series of this? Apparently it's a "remount", as Adam called it... it's not the same as the other series that was made a few years back... Which is weird, but I never saw that, I've only seen this newer one... It's actually quite good, but strange seeing Martin Clunes as a character who isn't a goofy drunken slob

I love this show! I missed last nights, but caught last weeks ep, and saw the original telemovies. It's like House meets Hamish MacBeth! (Two shows I love, so that's fine by me.)

LOL! Last night's episode was really frustrating But good... The guy who played Cedric Diggory's father in 'Goblet of Fire' was in it ;D

I am very dissapointed as to the shocking re-mount they did of this series. I had already watched the first two feature length episodes with a great premise and the like, and now to have all that completely changed is a bit pathetic! It is supposed to be a spin off prequel to the movie "Saving Grace" in which Martin Clunes plays the same character, the lovable pot smoking village Doc!
Now, for anyone who has seen the first series, this is a complete contrdiction. It would probebly good if you hadn't seen any of the backup material in the begining.
It's nice to see Stephanie Cole outside of blasted Tenko and Waiting for God, mind you, she has packed it on a bit.

I like it I like seeing Martin Clunes in something where he isn't playing a goofy drunken slob, heh... He plays "serious sarcastic bastard" type characters well.
