There was a lovely programme on BBC1 last night about David Walliams swimming the channel. It showed him training and highlights of his actual swim.
I've got so much respect for him now. He worked so hard, and at the end when he reached the french coast I wanted to hug him becuase he didn't have the strength in his arms to pull himself up on the rocks (to complete it he had to have his body fully out of the water). He was floudering and it was so sad and sweet at the same time!
Bless his heart! And he raised over half a million for charidee.
Woo hoo!
