colin-morgan.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=340Oooo Normally I prefer "manly" guys compared to the "pretty" ones, but damn... this is when I can make an exception The cheekbones! They be pointy! (and he has such an uncanny resemblance to Benedict Cumberbatch - they need to play brothers in something )

The only resemblance I see is the brow structure. And, though he's a baby, Colin is cute enough in a puppyish sort of way, Benedict does nothing for me at all. Of course, you are looking at them both in makeup which does look similar. I'm going off shots of their non screen personas. P.S. DT is still much prettier

LOL each to their own I guess. I think they have similar facial features (cheekbones that can cut you with their sharpness ) and while they're not necessarily conventionally good looking, there's still something about them I can't help but like. Probably the way they play their respective characters - Colin's portrayal of Merlin is amazing (he can play comedy so well, and the emotional scenes, gah ) Benedict is brilliant as Sherlock as well - he has fantastic charisma as that character. I would have loved to have seen him play the Doctor in a similar sort of way (preferably without an annoying companion ) lol I'm sad to say that I'm not as into DT as I used to be And possibly even sadder to admit that it was his portrayal of the Doctor that kind of put me off a bit. Ah well. I'll always have Barty

Don't get me wrong, Benedict makes a great Sherlock. But out of character he's not as attractive to me. Still, it's good that this way we'd never have to share or fight over anyone And as far as DT goes, to me he's more of a grown up. That's because I'm a hundred years older than you lot

True! Although I have seen some pics of BC out of character that look pretty good, I shall have to find them And yay for not fighting over anyone - you can have DT and ASH, and I can have BC and CM - not that we're greedy or anything LOL! And I like the grown ups as well (Richard Armitage, hmmm ... you don't wanna get me started ), but I guess it is nice to like actors who are closer to my age (I'm older than CM though - does that make me a cradle snatcher? actually he's only a couple of years younger so maybe it's not quite as bad )

How much older? 5 years is ok . We are in agreement on Richard

He's 26 so that's only 2 years (although it will be 3 come April ) Indeed - I think most people are in agreement on RA (and speaking of actor comparisons, I think Daniel Radcliffe is starting to look a lot like RA as he's getting older Or maybe that's just the way he looks in that new horror film he's in, I dunno )

I do have a really big soft spot for geeky looking guys like him, I must admit ^^

;D He looks like he'd be a really nice guy, I think. It's probably the geekiness that makes him appear that way

I totally agree, they say looks can be deceiving though, but in this case I think they wouldn't be ^^

Does the series start off with him & Merlin not getting along? ^^

Pretty much, they have some hilarious banter with each other to begin with And then Merlin saves Arthur's life and Uther "rewards" him by making him Arthur's servant
