I saw this on Friday. It was goooooood. I don't think there's a Marvel movie I've not enjoyed yet, they always get it right with the action, humour and sexy men ;D And I have no idea what the hell they did with Chris Evans, but by crikey a bit of a change occurs! Hayley Atwell is very pretty in it, I do love 40's make-up/clothes. And Nazi uniforms are always awesome. If anyone goes to see it, stay after the credits!!! There's a sneak preview of the Avengers and damn..... A LOT of hotties in there. I do have a thing for Thor And Iron Man Loki's not half bad either I'll stop now ;D Claire: RA is looooooooooovely (well not nice-lovely, but pretty lovely ;D) in it. He's not in lots but there's a good chuck of him Edit: Don't think I could've used many more smilies up there

LOL! Smilies are good! ;D Glad to know that RA is loooooovely I know he probably doesn't last for long but I'm prepared for that I just wish there was someone who'd go and see it with me D: I'm not really into these sorts of films normally though, I'm not much of a Marvel or DC comics fan. And I prefer to think of The Avengers as John Steed and Emma Peel But eh... As long as people enjoy it, that's the main thing

He doesn't last long really, which is sad. I was sat there thinking "awwwww no his tooth's fallen out....oh......oh I see... " You need to see it really! Would Adam not go see it with you? My boy's a major comic book nerd, so I don't have much choice but to see them all Which I don't mind cos I've always enjoyed them. I don't really get the link between the John Steed Avengers and the Marvel Avengers....are they even linked or do they just happen to share the same name?

Aaaaw LOL! No, Adam won't see it with me, he hates all that sort of thing. His favourite comic book series is Darkwing Duck and all the other Ducktales, Disney type things There isn't really a link between either of The Avengers, other than they have the same name. But I believe that the John Steed!Avengers came first, which is another reason that Adam doesn't like the comic book versions - he's a huge Steed!Avengers fan, you see

I liked it, even though I did only see for one reason. Must admit I preferred Thor though for hubby it was the other way round.

Everybody knew I only wanted to see if for one reason. Luckily enough my brother-in-law is a big comic collector and wanted to see it..everybody else went to see Harry Potter (I haven't seen it yet). CA was better than I expected it to be. Not my usual sort of movie but, for some reason, I will be buying the DVD

Finally saw parts of this movie - the parts that mattered anyway Still need to finish watching it but it's not too bad. I didn't think I'd like it but after seeing The Avengers, I can see the appeal in these sorts of movies

Hmm, I wonder which parts they were? ;D Captain America was okay but The Avengers is soooo much better. Good to see you are enjoying them a bit more now It helps that the Avengers was directed by Joss Whedon of course ;D I just hope that they carry on being good. What with the Marvel universe being so big, they good probably go on forever There's sequels for Iron Man, Thor and Hulk that I know of...and then a Black Widow and probably a Hawkeye film. And an Avengers 2. It seems a bit too much.

Haha... *coughRAcough* Yeah it probably did help that Mr Whedon was behind The Avengers - the dialogue was great But yeah... so many sequels and things... They'll try to milk this franchise for all it's worth, but that might be what kills it.
