Post any random SM facts that you know regarding the dub or japanese version that not everyone knows. (Warn for spoilers though) Example: -Fish Eye is really supposed to be a guy. Same thing for another character... I can't remember the name... Zoicite or something? Was actually a guy originally, but because of a relationship with another male character, the dubbers changed him to a female...

Yep, Zoycite was in love with Kunzite(Malachite in the dub).
-Amara and Michelle are NOT cousins. They're lovers.
-The Starlights are men that turn into women.

Actually I believe that in the Manga, the Starlights are always female... but I'll have to confirm that... LOL Ok... this is weird, but... according to my main Sailor Moon expert (at my Sailor Mercury Online board)... I'll post the answers here as well. Males are beleived to have a better sense of smell than females. this is beleived to be an evoled adaptation of the species for when the MAle's were the hunter/gathers who had to go out and retreive food. better sense of smell enabled a better chance to get better prey. With this in mind the Starlights turned into males so that they would have this better sense of smell to find the olive scent that was strongly associated with Kakyuu-hime. In either case of the manga or the anime its alot easier to pose as guys looking for girls, or at least a specific one, than to be girls looking for girls. As male idols they could attract a larger group of female following than they could have if they remained as female. & So yes... there you go... |

LOL that was mainly in the Anime version though, wasn't it? I'm not sure. I've never seen Stars and I haven't read the Manga... (yeah... I'm one of those fans...  ) |

From what I've reasearched the Starlights (In the anime I don't know about the manga) are originaly women who have chosen to hide out on Earth as men in order to attract less attention in their search for another women.  |

The starlights were at first women, this is shown becuse after the plane incadent whare they all see eachother transform.  i took a pic with my cell from my computer screen. But they state the star lights are really female. Sorry if i went off topic. |

Yeah... it's just one of those confusing things though, the transfer from the Manga into the Anime, a lot of things were changed, and even more so with the dubbed versions...
