I've only seen bits of Firefly and liked what I saw. I can't afford any DVDs at the moment. Serenity, however, I love. Own it and watch it quite a bit.  |

Firefly's actually cheap at the moment, $30 at JB Hi Fi  It took me a while to get into but once I did, I loved it. River is an awesome character. |

I love River too. They are all great characters and I hated it that Wash and Shepherd were killed off in Serenity. I would love it if we could learn Shepherd's story, fully.

Very unfair.  There was talk of a continuation way back when, but I don't think it will happen. I also think Mr Universe should have lived coz I just love those eyes!!   |

LOL he was amusing, I really need to watch it again.
It's a shame this couldn't continue further actually, like Buffy and Angel did. There was so much character development that could have occurred and it would have been brilliant.
It might have felt different to me though, as I watched B & A as they were aired, whereas I watched Firefly in pretty much one hit (averaged about 3 episodes a day), and then I virtually watched Serenity straight afterwards.

That's a marathon! Shows are definately different when watched like that, Like reading the whole book in one hit. |

Most definitely  Like reading Harry Potter 7 in a day..... ;D I should re-watch all of Buffy and Angel, but that would be a massive undertaking. What I really should be watching though is Supernatural. It took me months to watch Firefly though I did say to myself though, that after watching that, the next one I'd start on is SPN, I need to see season 1 in full. Speaking of marathons though, I've been having a few mini ones lately, it's fun |
