Believe me Claire, the explanation only just makes sense and that's only because I just left Wiki. I went there because I had thought that Jack would be on the first, not the last, 3 episodes of Dr. Who. Now I'm wondering how they're going to explain Jack being so happy at the sound of the Tardis and disappearing in the finale when he pops up again in the first show of the new season. But it does claim that the season finale of Torchwood set up the situation that will happen on Dr. Who in the Utopia episode. I read the episode and think that I am still going to be confused. The only mention made of places that it will air is in England mid-January and then here on BBC America about a week later. I have no idea if it's been picked up anywhere else yet. They did have a whole description of where and when the first season was shown. They did mention showing a bit tamer version a little earlier in England for younger viewers. In other words, they will cut out the sex and such. BTW, Jack is scheduled for a pretty racy scene in one episode from what I read. ;D You should take a quick read in Wiki and see what he claims he is willing to show for the right amount of money. They are probably in a rush to get it on here because it is BBC America's biggest hit. There was mention made of last season's airing in OZ. They claimed that it was well received and Channel Ten only moved it to the undesirable wednesday 12am slot because of "rival programming". But if your Channel Ten is the station airing Big Brother, then enough said. But I do have to ask that if a show like that is on in prime time and Torchwood gets such raves and then gets stuck in a midnight slot, what the hell's going on there? Guess I'd better stop bitching about my television.

Channel 10 just sucks in general. They move stuff all over the place without warning, and then they take shows off mid-season without explanation... I'd heard that they took it off the earlier timeslot because it was considered "too racy" And like the show they replaced it with - Californication - wasn't even worse? FFS... The whole ratings thing pisses me off so much. If they just allowed a show to last it's entire series/season run then maybe it might actually do well? Because that way people won't have lost faith in the station and turn to other mediums, such as downloads and DVDs. Aah well! Like I say - I'm pretty sure there'll be people uploading Torchwood up online for people to nab, so I'll be taking advantage of that... I did it with the latest series of Boosh anyway - much better than waiting

Thanks again for the link Claire. Out of fairness to people who might want to download it and haven't yet, I won't say anymore. Besides I wrote my opinions in Jess' group. Along with my thanks again.
