Well to me it appeared he probably put his work ahead of any sort of social life, judging from his 'little black book' and it's emptiness... *hugs Ross*
So perhaps that's what made him even more bitter... His only "real" friends are Mickey and Pauline, and the three of them have quite an interesting dynamic... Ross and Pauline hate each other, although apparently Pauline was "attracted" to Ross (well who wouldn't be? ). Mickey was rather clueless though... But in a sense the calmest of the three, if that makes sense, LOL. The voice of reason in a way...
Yeah now I'm getting all analytical. Gaah tis like Yr 12 English all over again

hehe, i have just finished GCSE english and have no desire to return!
although what you have written sounds plausible at any rate......he obviously had no friends, but i don't thnk he was as evil smug and bitter as people make out........after everything pauline did to him, it seems justifiedthat he should get a little bit of revenge!
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

True indeed... I just wonder if he was pushed more because of the fact he had no other friends, at least he could have bitched to them about Pauline, LOL! But he didn't have anyone (except for his mum?) so he had to keep it all inside...
