awww Adam! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a little cry over the sadness of the Sarah Jane one.

Pleased to report that episode 8 is not another earth-bound story, they're on another planet at last! (Not that I have anything particularly against all the set on earth eps, it's just nice to have some intergalactic action as well.) It's a two-parter, and a bit of a slow-burner, with elements of Alien and Stargate, and a dash of Red Dwarf.

Ooh a dash of Red Dwarf I must say, the reviews I've been reading from other people have been quite interesting, hmm...

I can see where they're coming from. In this wek's episode it was total slush-fest regarding DR and Rose.
And I find Rose really irritating so it jsut makes me think the Dr is a bit thick.

I'm probably the wrong person to ask, because I just wish it was Dr Who/Captain Jack But nah, it doesn't worry me. I'm finding the RTD versions way more watchable and enjoyable and interesting than classic Who. It's like it has grown up with me. I like that very much. ETA: I just asked Mr Tweed his opinion and he said that he views Dr Who as being asexual, so any romance is pointless because it wouldn't lead to eventual sex. He thinks it isn't in the Doctor's character to get it on with anyone.

Hmm... You seem to be more open minded then, heh! I can see where they're coming from. In this wek's episode it was total slush-fest regarding DR and Rose. And I find Rose really irritating so it jsut makes me think the Dr is a bit thick. I'd have to agree there. I can't stand her either, eesh... If only the Dr was played by someone older - then there wouldn't be any of it

I wish it was Captain Jack too Tweedy!! Although, as much as I love the Tennant, I do miss the cheeky Eccleston. He just was Dr Who for me....

He was great, wasn't he, the lovely Mr Ecclestone. Is it just me, or does the newest Doc have a sinister streak that Nine didn't? Nine was very sweet and enthusiastic, and I loved the way he dressed. I'm hanging out for Torchwood! *paces*
