I didn't quite know where to put this so I put it here!
I'm thinking about getting a new MP3 player as my one is just so ultimately crap.
I'm torn between an i-pod nano and a creative zen v+. They're both £125, and they're both 4G. But which one to choose?
So some questions to those who have i-pods:
Basically I don't like i-pod nano's design at all. Don't know what it is about them, but I don't like it.
Anyway, can they be used on PC's?
Are they easy to use? Is it a drag & drop menu?
Do you have to use i-tunes or can you esily rip from cds etc?
Thank you! ;D

iPods are made for both Macs and Windows PCs so that's no problem at all. You can use iTunes to get music from CDs or MP3s you already have on your computer, so you don't have to download songs for it just to get music. www.apple.com/itunes/Hope that helps

Thanks Sails!
I just can't decide what to do. I'm also asking myself is it worth spending that much money on?
Do you think it is?

Hmm well... I didn't buy mine so I didn't have to pay But I wouldn't be without it now, it's just so easy to use, and I've made my own playlists which is cool. It depends on the type of iPod really, some are cheaper but you can't fit as many songs on them. It's probably better to go to a store and look at some, and ask the person working there for advice.

I've been reading and reading reviews online but it's hard to get a real feel of what they're like online. I feel like spoiling myself but not sure that I should!

LOL! Depends on how badly you want one I guess. Do you know anyone who has one that you could look at up close and maybe have a little play with? See mine is an older model, and it's 40Gigs - it's like the "Rolls Royce" of iPods Except now you can get 80Gig ones that are thinner and can play movies I don't care about that though, I like mine and I'd be really upset if I ever lost it or it stopped working. I'd have to get a new one

40G is soooo huuuuge!
Do you use anywhere near that much on it??
I wouldn't mind one that's a big bigger but you can only get the 80G ones now and that is too big I think!
Maybe I should wait til after Chrimbo! Then I'll know what money I've got left after all the present buying!

Yeah I haven't used up a lot of space on mine I've got over 3000 songs on it though, that's not even my entire CD collection (but there are some shitty ones I just don't want to be bothered with ) I think 60Gig is available as well. But yeah, maybe wait til after Christmas, hey someone might even get you one if you ask for it

I very much doubt it! I'd never get something that expensive as a gift! Maybe I can ask for cash and buy one with that? 3000 songs is a lot! Do I even own that much music? actually I probably do!

It's funny because when I got mine I thought "oh yeah I'll probably fill it up" and I haven't even dented the max. music you can put on it, and I've had it for over a year Ooo yay, cash = good present! A lot of people wouldn't agree, but I think it's good - at least that way you can buy what you want
