It makes the season shorter to us, I think... It's a bit strange. See if you look on Amazon it has seasons 1 and 2 as "Volume 1", then the others are broken up strangely as well. Whereas here and the UK, it's straight out season 1, Season 2, season 3, etc... *shakes head* the mind boggles! And to the DW predicament Of course there would be some US peeps who are fans, I know a few here and there, one of them even likes a Doctor played by an actor who is probably even less known than what Tom Baker is, LOL! But yeah... it's interesting really...

Wow, I just looked it up... You're right. That is weird... Especially since Vol. 3 has half of Season 4 and Volume 4 has the other half... Of course... The US has to do things the stupid way... True, but the percentage of US DW fans that are also FG fans is probably pretty slim... Why am I suddenly reminded of that one episode of FG where they go to see a British play and Chris is the only one who gets it.

LOL! Oh yeah... always having to poke fun at the Brits you guys Then again I guess Oz people do that too. But I consider myself to be an "OzBrit" so I don't like to do that - got too much love for 'em, hehe Well hey look at the cool things they've produced over the years

Who would that DW fan be, Claire? Anyone we know? What's up with the US bashing?

No one you'd know, actually She's on Live Journal and loves Colin Baker (no relation to Tom). We're not bashing... Well Sailor Slytherin is from the US herself so... Sorry if it seems as though we are

Sorry, I was just poking fun. I didn't mean to offend. To me, it's sort of like making fun of yourself... Nah, US aint so bad... Come on... We get Family Guy first!!! *crickets* Too soon for a joke?

You know what's also cool about the US? It's shaped like a teapot; a teapot with a wang! *crickets* Ok... Now I'm being stupid...

Thanks for the explainations, Sailor Ladies.
I am sorry if it seemed I was taking offense. I am used to the rest of the world pretty much hating us and didn't really mean it seriously, hence the sad face. Since most members are from OZ, I didn't realize you were an American. Sorry. Guess I was still just too hyper-sensitive at seeing the poll on the news showing just how much the rest of the world hates us.
All things considered, it might seem to make sense but I just wish that the rest of the world would realize that half of us did try and get rid of our idiot-in-chief.

Don't be. It's perfectly understandable. Yeeeeeeah. Maybe that's why I only see foreign tourists in Blue states? J/k. On a totally unrelated note: Who knew a Family Guy thread could become so serious. lol.
