That happens to me too. What I do is, hit the pause button, and it loads the rest of the clip. I go and play in another window, then when I come back and it's loaded, watch it all as it's meant to be seen Mind you, I wish I could save it to my computer cos I can happily watch it over and over... Do you, or does anyone else know if that's possible with YouTube?

There was this fab article in The Guardian yesterday, where Annie Proulx shared her thoughts on Brokeback missing out on the Best Pic Oscar. Enjoy! She's so right!!!! God bless her!

And she shares my sentiments about biopic actors... Totally! That's what me and Kev were arguing about the other week. It's so true though it really is.

is it stupid that I am finding myself close to tears of anger because of arrogant and idiotic people's reactions to BBM? On the Empire site I posted up that Proulx article thinking that some people might appreciate it, but all it's had back are people sarcastically saying "Boo hoo! it didn't win, what a shame!" and bitching about how her book wasn't even that good. And in the other BBM thread there that idiot who I shouted at before just posted a reply that said, and I quote: "well just as well it done quite shit at the oscars considerin its nominations, didnt get best picture.....wonder why?? coz its crap. case rested." I am beyond angry right now, you won't believe. Fair enough if you don't like it, but why wave your hatred in the face of those that do?? RARR!!

I bet they haven't even seen the movie. I read that many people in the academy didn't even bother watching the DVD that was sent to them. I'll have to dig out the article from the weekend paper that tore Crash into little bits and pieces...I think the phrase 'self congratulatory liberalism' was employed

No I have resisted posting a ranty reply because I know that's what he wants, but at the same time I feel like I should defend it.
But why do people feel the need to slag off something that other people like? What's the point of it? Why couldn#t they just ignore that particular thread you know?
