They do it as a contemporary folk song, with the rationale that if Ned Kelly can be a folk hero, so can Ivan Milat, and Chopper etc

I haven't seen Bad Boy Bubby yet, but it's on my round tuit list.
Oooh, I just remembered an Aussie movie I loved - 'The Year My Voice Broke', with Ben Mendelsohn and Noah Taylor when they were young 'uns.
And to tie in the GUD/Aussie movie thing, ever see The Night We Called It A Day? Paul McDermott has a tiny role, as a manager of a band, and he's got a mullet.

Yay!
Do you remember those characters that Tim and Richard used to do on the Big Gig, with the mullets, and reeeeeeeeally tight jeans?

It's something to do with pretty eyes with long eyelashes - they cast you under a spell.

One of my work mates came in today and she was really pale.
She said 'I saw Wolf Creek on the weekend'
I said 'Oooh I want to see that!'
She said: 'You DON"T want to see it. I wish I hadn't seen it"
I said: "It's okay, I don't mind scary movies"
She said: "You do NOT want to see this movie."
So of course, I can't wait to see it. I don't know why I am drawn to disturbing movies, but I am.
(FWIW, the scariest movie I've seen would have to be Once Were Warriors - it left me pale and shaky and afraid for the future of the human race.)

Hmm... Wolf Creek... A movie I won't be seeing then... LOL!
Is it like an Australian "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" I wonder? Just by the way it's set in the "middle of no where", and the sort of... I guess "realism" of it... hmm...
