Anyone else here an Andrew Denton fan? I've followed his career through: *Theatresports - improv comedy a-la Whose Line Is It Anyway * Blah, Blah, Blah - one of the first 'yoof' orientated interview and discussion series. * The Money or the Gun - great interviews, funny and informative, and legendary for producing the Stairways To Heaven CD and video. (yay...DAAS is on it!) *Denton - the chat show on night-time commercial teev, with fun spots by Amanda Keller and some of the best comedy talent in Oz. *Live and Sweaty - the only show about sport I could stomach. It introduced us to Debbie 'Skull of Rust' Spillane, and Elle McFeast, and re-introduced old Kingswood Country viewers to Lex 'The Wog' Marinos! Oh and seeing sexist, homophobic dinosaur Rex Mossop getting his just desserts each week was a highlight as well. ;D *Enough Rope - watch Andrew extract fascinating information from his guests - both famous and everyday people - with surgical precision. And bloody funny to boot! I think he's amazing - he's intelligent, compassionate and very, very funny. He's the best interviewer in the world, imho, or at least on par with Parky. Here's to Andrew Denton!

I'm not much of a fan, no... but in comparison to Rove, he's a freaken god... Seriously He does seem to be a lot more intelligent and witty, which is good...

Yep, sad to say I remember all of em as well. Mind you Andrew Denton wasn't quite a draw card enough to get me watching a sport program, there's probably only 1 man in this world with enough charisma to pull off that feat, who could that be I wonder? Hmmm.
