I know, LOL! It took me a while to get into the show, to be honest. At first I was a bit "Eeeh no... I might give it a miss... It's too weird for me..." Now I'm glad I allowed my b/f to "expose" me to TLoG... ;D

My first impressions were "This is so sick! But also reasonably funny!" Then I saw Reece's eyes and I was happy! ;D Then i forgot about it for aaaaggggeeessss until the film, when I laughed my socks off, and then I saw Reece's eyes and I was happy! So I went and bought the box set and watched the whole thing in about 3 weeks and I love it!! ;D

I remember flicking (OOH!) through channels one night - half watching TV, half fannying about on the net, and there was an episode on the ABC. I had no idea who played what, but was amused by how grotesque some of the make-up was. The funny part of my first impression - I thought Reece (ooh, he's quite cute, that one there with the glasses talking back to that bloke with the pretty eyes dressed as a woman) was about eighteen or nineteen years old. I do wonder if I had been paying more attention, whether it would have grabbed me there and then.

Yeah my bf was into it right from the start. I remember before we went to see the film he put on The Lesbian and the Monkey and i was shocked becuase there was no laughter track and I didn;t know what to make of it! I think I was disturbed! But now I can watch that and appreciate the genius of it! ;D

my first (tv) impression was from the papa lazarou section on te fifty greatest comedy sketches and comic aid. and i remember thinking that it was so perfect that i had to see it..and then the first episode was given away free with a sunday paper and i watched that about thirty times, saw the frist series on the beeb, bought the box set and the rest, asa they say, is history!
the only bad thing about my box set is that it arrived right in the middle of my study leave for GCSE's, so it was really tempting.......league/revision/league/revision.....NO CONTEST! league all the way! ehhh, if i had failed, i could have at least blamed them i supoose!
althought the VERY first time i ever herd it was on tape, on the town, and i had to listen to about three times to get all the charcters sorted out in my head. but i now barely go a day without it. hey-ho, every day i slip further into the bottomless pit that is obsession. eh!
sorry, m in weird mood today!

When the League of gentlemen was first broad casted in Holland,
I thought it was strange, dark and surreal.
But when I saw the first episode, with Benjamin in Bab's Cab,
and Babs says MY NIPPLES ARE LIKE BULLETS!!
I knew this was a comedy that I would like. ;D
